The existing outrigger contained a dated, rotting kitchen that felt disconnected from the rest of the house. The clients wanted a brighter, larger, more sociable space but were unsure how to get a design that suited their needs and resources. We showed them how a side extension and structural support to open the back of the house could achieve their goals; creating an open, light‑filled kitchen that now works beautifully for family life. The new layout accommodates their furniture and gives them a space the whole family enjoy together.
